I haven't posted in quite a while.

I have been busy driving my Mustang since before Thanksgiving last year. (this unpublished post was found in the archive while updating the site, it was written over five years ago.)

I got it to the point where I had all the necessary equipment working, except for the fuel, temp, ammeter and the instrument lights. Since the speedo is cable driven that wasn't any problem. I drive it about 25 miles a day  which is to work and back and run errands around town. I've put over 1,500 miles on it without any problems. During March I did quite a bit of work. I pulled the front springs, replaced the spring perches and coil isolators, the rt. tie rod end, and replaced the front sway bar bushings with polyurethane items.I installed a tachometer on the steering column which has given a much better understanding of the power curve and gearing interact. I have driven my car on several longer trips, once to my brother's house over a hundred and twenty miles. I drove at an indicated 65-70 mph. and of course most other traffic went screaming past me. Still there was no real problem. I've been using my odometer to keep track of my fuel
